Some Great News About You!

I have some exciting news to share about you!

Yes, YOU!

Did you know you are already a big winner?

Yep! It’s true.

(Click on image above if you prefer to watch a video rather than read.) I woke up this morning feeling like I needed to share with you what I KNOW to be true about you.

Not according to just wishful thinking or some random “pie in the sky" philosophy, but rather based upon what I know from God’s word to be true about you.

Would that be, okay?

I hope so!!

Regardless of whether or not you are a follower of Jesus Christ as I am (I value and appreciate you regardless by the way), I believe, as one of my mentors Zig Ziglar once stated, “You are designed for achievement, engineered for success, and endowed with the seeds of greatness!”

Isn’t that great news?

I believe that your life has great meaning and purpose and that you are not just living during this time in history by accident. (Jer 1:5)

That’s exciting to think about!

I know that you are loved by God. (John 3:16)

Isn’t that comforting to know?

And that God has incredible plans for your life…Plans to prosper you and give you hope for a great future! (Jer 29:11)

Wow, what a promise!

And I certainly believe you were born to win! (1 John 5:4)

See, I told you that you’re a winner!

In addition, when someone chooses to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, and for anyone who by God’s grace has already chosen to follow him…

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (Isaiah 40:29)

God takes hold of your right hand and says to you, “Do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13)

When you pass through the “waters,” He will be with you; and when you pass through the “rivers,” they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the “fire,” you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (Isaiah 43:13)

No weapon formed against you will prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)

And ALL things (even the hard, ugly and extremely challenging things) work together for the good to those who love God. (Romans 8:28)

There is so much more good news I could continue to share, but I want to keep this one short.

There is entirely too much negative coming at each of us on a daily basis. If we are not careful it can negatively affect our thoughts, our mindset, our attitude and our actions.

It’s so important to keep a proper, positive perspective.

We all have so many things to be grateful, thankful and positive about.

In closing, remember that we will always receive more of what we focus on…

Focus on more negatives, you’ll see and experience more negative things.

Focus on the positive things that you have to be grateful for, and you’ll certainly see and experience more things to be grateful for.

That’s just the way it is.

And speaking of positive things…I’m so grateful for my bride of (in 5 more days) 30 years, who’s celebrating her 50th birthday today. Please feel free to wish Nicole a happy birthday.

Also, if you missed the July 15th article I wrote on my blog titled, “We Get What We Focus On,” you can read that here.

I hope you will choose to focus on some of these wonderful truths that God says about us and go out and make it a great day and an impactful week.

Until next time,
