Reaping the Rewards of Persistence

In today's fast-paced world, we often find ourselves searching for instant gratification, whether it's with food, entertainment, finances, careers, or our personal lives.

However, biblical principles of success require us to be disciplined, patient, and persistent in pursuing our mission, purpose and calling, if we desire to see substantial fruit for our life’s labor.

The bottom line, we can’t afford to quit!

I shared this biblical success principle #7 (of the 7) on my podcast 6 weeks ago (episode 025)...the importance of not quitting.

Now let’s take a look at why not quitting is a biblical success principle that can benefit your life.

Galatians 6:7, 9, provides us with a powerful reminder not to give up on doing good…

”Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a person sows he will also reap. Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.”

The principle of reaping and sowing that we read about here is a fundamental concept that has been present throughout human history.

It is the idea that whatever we invest our time, energy, and resources into, we will eventually receive the corresponding results.

This can be seen in various aspects of our lives, from relationships to business ventures, from our physical health to our spiritual health, and even our personal growth.

In our society today it is easy to fall into the trap of expecting instant results.

Some invest in crypto or stocks hoping to become millionaires overnight, while others try to gain a massive following on social media within a short period of time.

However, we must remember that God has set principles in place that govern the world, and we should not be deceived into thinking that we can bypass these principles.

Treating people right, practicing good business fundamentals, following up and following through are all essential aspects of reaping positive outcomes in business.

It's crucial to understand that we reap what we sow, and it's futile to expect to harvest what we haven't planted.

When we do good work, it will eventually pay off.

You will certainly have moments where you feel tired or weary in your pursuit of good work and it's during those times you must remember the Galatians 6:9 principle…

“Do not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.”

Do not lose heart and continue to be relentless in your efforts to do good, knowing that in due time we will reap the fruits of our labor if you continue to sow good seeds into your family, your body, your relationships, and your business or career.

This principle applies to all areas of our lives, even areas such as weight loss, personal growth, developing our networks, and improving our marketing abilities and business skills.

The reason these principles work is that they have been set up by God, and His principles are the foundation upon which the world operates.

By understanding and applying these principles, we can achieve true success and fulfillment in our lives.

In closing, do not grow weary in your pursuit of doing good work, and remember that you will reap the rewards of your efforts if you simply don't quit.
